About Adventure Motorcycle USA
More than a decade ago, over beers at a local bar, my good friend Terry and I hatched a plan. We'd take off on Adventure motorcycles and tour the United States by (mostly) dirt. We didn't own bikes, weren't overly accomplished riders, had limited time, multiple kids and hadn't yet talked to our wives about this idea. But we had a dream - and weren't getting any younger.
Weeks later we had wheels and a few months later we had the support of our wives and a few friends that wanted to join the team. Our group expanded to 4, then to 6 for the first couple of rides and now stands at 10 aging riders with more crazy ideas than time or sense.
Since those early days, we’ve covered close to 30,000 miles of dirt, gravel, sand, rock with some pavement thrown in for good measure.

2023: This year has us taking on the the magnificant Idaho backcountry. We start in Spokane, WA and then over into Coeur d’Alene before turning south for a 10-day off-road ride through Idaho. We’ll finish up in Salt Lake City. Should be another epic ride.
